Well, now that I have met with the Dwarf, I am a little bit less confident of what I might find regarding a former branch of the Disciples of the Dragon. If only I had a way to contact them. I think the rest of the city is beginning to think I am crazy as a loon, which concerns me greatly. I must figure out a way to show them that I have some knowledge of what I claim regarding the Dragons. I think the best course of action will be to check with Master Will down below, and see if he can point me towards the City Watch, and try my luck from there. Surely, there must be someone willing to listen to me, and possibly help the city's defense. It has been so long since I have heard from any Dragon, I find myself slipping into moments of self-doubt. Another lead I suppose I should investigate was what the dwarf said about a bakery being a front to the old dragon cult. That sounds pretty similar to how I have heard things working at other branches. So, if they have remained in business, perhaps I can find them. Come to think of it, I think Will said something about the Tobacco shop as well. It must be my natural aversion to the sweet smokes, that has kept me from investigating that shop. Much like those misguided Vorakians. I don't think Will understands how much I fear them, especially in groups! I definitely avoid the block where their temple is altogether. I expect them to attack me on sight, but perhaps I am being a bit delusional on that one. I would be sure that their priests understood the undoing of their blood sky spell, and I imagine they have heard about those involved. Perhaps I think better of my involvement in that part of history, than others do...? I have to find someone to work with. Drinking alone or with Will is getting expensive, without getting me much in return.

This is a great day, or really what I hope is a great day. A dragon of some size was seen flying in the skies above Kessid today! The City went nuts, and prepared for the worst, calling every guardsman and all of their mages, to ready magic and missiles, in some attempt to destroy the Dragon. In times since past, I would have celebrated this openly, but now, I must show more reserve. Until I can determine if the Dragon is one who adheres to the Covenant or not, I must be a little more discrete, or I might find myself on the wrong side of the City guard! Now, if only there was a way for me to contact the Dragon, so that I can determine its intentions, and possibly parlez them to the City Government...!

So much is changing in Kessid, I just don't understand the larger issues at play. It is easy to see that something *big* is being planned for, like an huge flood, or something on a catastrophic level, but I just don't know where to look for answers right now. Perhaps this is a good time for some quiet meditation. If only I could get some sign from one of the Dragons of the Covenant, to know if this is just merely the normal ebb and flow of life here, or if this is all related to their conflict with the younger Gods, or possibly both. When I return from my meditation, perhaps Master WIl's contacts will have some information for me. Perhaps, I will have information for them!

What a night. It was good to see Reggie, and his friend Tilly. I will have to visit her at the Church of the Mother, and see what I can learn about other churches in the area. They might have better records than some of the places I have been visiting so far.
I could not have been more surprised to hear about Volek being murdered! I can't imagine how that will chang the world!
And now, I see all of this activity by the Dominia. I suspect I will be making another gourmet lunch appointment, at the Barking fool tavern with Wil, the tavern keeper!

It is good to be under cover this night. The weather outside is quite fierce, and from what I can hear from the street is that this is unusual, even for the spring.
I hope the weather breaks soon, as it seems to be having an effect on local commerce. The prices of my spell components has increased three-fold in the last month, and that is for the ones that I can still get here in Kessid.
My plans have to start paying off, or I am going to run out of gold. I must succeed in building up the ranks of my disciples, or all of my plans will wither and die. Surely, there must be people interested in joining me at the temple.
I will keep offering my services to people in Kessid, perhaps someone will need some help soon. If only I could find a way to contact Milgroos. Surely his oracular powers would help convince people of the sincerity of our cause.
I have heard so little of the minions of the younger gods, my mortal foes. I fear they are gathering again in the time since the red sky. So much war and strife across the land. Where does it leave us?
I keep making offerings, but it has been so long since I have had the glimmer of a response. Maybe I have done something to anger the Dragons of the Covenant? I will renew and redouble my efforts. It is all I have left to live for.

I saw a posting at the Hall of Travellers that caught my eye in more ways than one!
I think this the type of lead that I need. In my research of Kessid, it sounds like there is a chance that a Dragon temple may have existed in the area known as Low Town. While I haven't heard word that it is still operating, I suspect it is there, but may have shifted its outward appearance, becoming more of a front for other less savory activities.
This event, taking place at the "Totem Inn", sounds like a great place for me to meet some new potential recruits. I have found that wine does loosen the tongue a bit, making it easier to let the mind wander, and discuss heady matters, like religion...
I fear that this is a setup to steal more elves for uses as Totems, but I thought that practice was abolished several years past. Perhaps I have been out of touch with recent events in that part of the land... It could be valuable to learn who is behind this event. I am need of significant allies, possibly in low places!

This morning I continued my research, trying to find some details out about the possibility of a previous (or still existing) Dragon Temple, somewhere in Kessid. As a bit of exploration, I went for lunch in the Foreign Quarter, and came across a fine tavern serving some tasty food and drink. I think it was called the Barking Dog Tavern, or Upstart Crow, something like that.
I will probably return there again soon, as they had a well maintained Hall of Travellers board, and I am not sure that I trust the other ones that I have seen here in "Low town" as the locals seem to call it. This is a dodgy place at best. I will see if I can afford a better place soon.
